24 products left, but today Breeze
Hi friend 👋,
How We Feel was one of the most popular posts in this newsletter. I've been using it for a while, and the journey has been difficult for me. Allow me to explain why. Typically, I have routines that keep me sane. I have things to complete in my head in a precise order, especially after waking up, till another person arrives at the office. Yes, I'm usually the first one in the office, and I enjoy thinking about things when I'm alone. I'm convinced that I'm a morning person and that the hours between five in the morning and nine in the morning are when I'm most creative and productive. So, if something unexpected happens around this time, it ruins my day. Of course, I'm doing my best to remain calm and respond properly, but it's always difficult for me. And, about 9:00 a.m., How We Feel sends the notification. It is always stressful for me because 9:00am represents the end of MY day and the point at which I began to serve my life in exchange for money. So the feeling I was having at the time was purely tied to that one hour period. It has nothing to do with my day or the despair I'm experiencing.
That's why I started looking at different tools to track my mood and possibly learn to know myself better. Mood tracking is crucial. But, being angry may be a temporary emotion although it is the most dominating one at the time; yet, feeling disconnected may be a summary of your day, and you may not even note it because it is a part of you. So, my journey to repair myself is still ongoing, and I'm doing my best.
Today, Breeze is our product.
Among the tools I tested, Breeze provides the best UI and interface experience. Because this is not a non-profit software, you will frequently encounter their paywall and hidden close icon, but this is the essence of practically all health and fitness apps. The app includes a mood tracker, a variety of tests to help you understand your present position, and courses on mental health. They also have a few weird meditation games, such as calming waters, in which you touch the screen to produce a wave with a peaceful background sound. I think they did a terrific job on the application copies, you feel the friendliness at a first glance. Another advantage is that they offer a 7-day free trial to try everything.
Sometimes I think the best companion a person could have is a pen and a decent notebook. But then I understand that the only way to change is to get feedback, which is something we don't get from the notebook. While therapy can help, sessions are typically scheduled once a week or twice a month, and starting from scratch can take several sessions and weeks, during which time important details are easily lost. Applications like this may therefore serve as a useful adjunct in our efforts to monitor our feelings and get insight into the world around us.
We’ll talk again tomorrow.
