36 products left, but today pudding
Hi friend 👋,
Stories are the magic in our lives. It is the only way to transfer wisdom from someone to the other. While I find Jordan Peterson's conversational approach and narcissism off-putting, I did enjoy a handful of his lectures in which he discussed the meaning of old religious stories. Revelations like those let me appreciate stories all over again. I thought the stories that stays with me. There is one aspect in common, their uniqueness and different mathematic in it. Hollywood has cracked the human brain, and they almost always apply the same dramaturgy all the time. And, it works. However, if you watch a film from Europe or the Middle East, you will be blown away by the style and structure of the tale. It will stick with you for a while, and you will reflect on what it means.
Unfortunately, we live in a time where everything has started to seem the same. We are optimizing everything against some measurable KPIs in the short run. Thus, the results are identical, and I have the impression that we are in a Hollywood mindset as technologists. The way we talk about our products and place calls to action is not the best method for telling our story, but it is the most effective way to convert. Today, I'm going to talk about an agency rather than a product, which reminds me of the significance of being authentic.
Today, pudding is our product.
The pudding is an agency - or simply a few of people, I'm not sure which - that creates lovely stories in an unseen format. I enjoy stand-up comedy and read their show analysis of Ali Wong's Baby Cobra. It was fascinating to watch how they interpreted Ali's success. I began to keep an eye on them from that point forward. Every article/story they've released is great in terms of how they present their message. In a tl;dr world, they grab your attention and guide you through the story with arrow buttons. Images, sound, movies, and animations are tastefully integrated into their storytelling.
I'm not sure what the genuine product is here. They utilize Svelte to create all of these tales and also post their how-to videos on YouTube. However, it is the creativity that makes the difference. Spend some time today reading their stories. Even reading their most recent post about economy and mathematics will make you happy.
We’ll talk again tomorrow.
