Hi friend 👋,
I'm not a party boy, and doing rhythmic moves alongside incredibly loud music makes me cringe. Meanwhile, we all know that dance has a 9000-year history. It is a means to be in trans mode and lose track of reality; it is a form of meditation. So I'm aware that the first sentence is nonsense. Probably because of how I was taught, I have always believed that in order to enjoy anything, you must first deserve it. You shouldn't be happy if you didn't put in enough effort. Strangely, when I put in a lot of work and finally achieve my goal, the emotion that comes over me is not satisfaction or joy but rather exhaustion. Please don't let my gloomy thoughts entice you. Here we are, on the eve of the New Year. I really hope you have a great time at your party tonight. It's not just about the celebrations on New Year's Eve; it's also a great time to exchange gifts with loved ones and snap photos in front of the Christmas tree you spent hours putting up and secretly planning how to unbundle and where to store it. Taking all joking aside, the giving and receiving of gifts is undeniably the most exciting element of these events.
When I really care about someone and want to make them happy beyond the scope of a routine exchange, I adore giving gifts. And it needs to be meaningful, serving a purpose or embodying some aspect of you. I realize that by imposing all these principles and rules, I am making things more difficult for everyone, but that is just how I am. "one purchase - one donate" is a well-known D2C concept. I first saw this at Warby Parker, but I'm sure there are tens of other D2C brands that operate in the same way. In spite of studies indicating otherwise, this brand identity is really appealing to this nearly-boomer. A good incentive for me to buy something is if doing so helps those in need. Today’s product does the same.
Today, Bombas is our product.
While I'm sure that American readers are familiar with the name "Bombas," it's largely unknown where I'm from. They also make underwear, t-shirts, and slippers, but we're only going to talk about socks here. My colleague's father works in the textile industry, and he explained why checking merely the material distribution is not enough. Most importantly, pay attention to the length of the cotton staples and the quality of the stitching. Even just reading the reviews on Bombas's socks gets me pumped. Yes, socks are one of my guilty pleasures, and I wish I could be barefoot all day. It is also proper to talk about it on New Year's Eve.
If you, like me, spend hours selecting the perfect pair of socks by scrutinizing every detail, you must try Bombas! It's a little costly, but for every item you buy, they donate socks and underwear to people in need. They have amazing designs and are definitely a confidence booster. I hope you have a wonderful evening tonight!
We’ll talk again tomorrow.

The video is like a short film, I felt so many emotions at once. I loved every little detail from people speaking to the music and transitions! It made me want to buy a few pair of Bombas socks too, I guess I’ll take my chances with forwardme. 🧦 Thanks for sharing today’s product and happy new year to everyone in this community! ✨
