Hi friend 👋,
We generate dozens of reports for internal use on a regular basis. When viewed from the perspective of the company's founders, a startup requires a variety of reports detailing the company's finances, sales, marketing, and even its products. Furthermore, preparing them is the most tedious portion of this work. It's possible that dashboards could be useful, but their results often lack the context that would make them truly useful. Why is this metric declining? What is the current trend? Wasn't that something we'd seen before? Is it linked to the seasons? These cannot be derived from the report generated by your BI.
Most of the main indicators that startups monitor are somewhat similar, and changes in them signify the same thing. And, as we all know, AI is now ubiquitous. So, what if an AI platform checks all of our measurements on a regular basis and alerts us if anything is missing? That is something that is constantly on my mind. That was the first thing that drew my attention to today's product. As far as I can tell, they are still not using AI, but I believe it may be a terrific next step for them.
Today, livedocs is our product.
Using livedocs, it only takes a few clicks to automate the data-gathering process by linking your various sources of information with your reports. Next, you'll want to shape your report into final form. It seems to me that they have just begun their journey. Even so, you may generate reports by linking other services like Google Analytics, Notion, your social media accounts, Google Sheets, Stripe, etc. Furthermore, they have access to a library of report templates. They are in YC 22 Winter group and valley based.
As I mentioned before, my enthusiasm for livedocs stems from its future. One of the first things I do when I come across a product of this kind is to stalk the founder's social media accounts. Arsalan Bashir, the company's creator, has a keen interest in artificial intelligence and AI-generated content. It also informs me about livedocs. What if they provide us with an auto-generated startup metrics report that has unique insights derived from time-based metric data? Wouldn't it be wonderful if no founder ever asked, "How didn't we see this before?" after any ups and downs?
We’ll talk again tomorrow.

Death of Ceo’s office :))
It'll be interesting to see how they'll respond to the integration requests. I can already think of a few analytics platforms :)
