74 products left, but today Tertulia
Hi friend 👋,
My favorite aspect of catching up with old friends is when one says something like, "I read this book lately and it was fantastic because." To hear the reasoning of someone I respect is a joy. Or, if a speaker at a conference I'm attending says something like, "I recommend this book for you because," I immediately make a note of it and make it one of my top priorities. Books are wonderful in so many ways. The first benefit is that it gives you and the writer some alone time, which may be used to strengthen yourself or heal old wounds. In a way, it's like nourishing your spirit.
Weekends are ideal for going on a book store tour and checking out every book. Sometimes I merely observe folks to see how they choose a book. Some people have a certain book in mind, while others are more open-minded and will read anything from fiction to biography to politics. There's a good chance that I'll be found among the second group. And I'm always interested in hearing the thoughts of the people whose opinions I value the most.
Today, Tertulia is our product.
Tertulia has a large number of book reviews, which are classified based on the reviewers' areas of expertise. The book can be purchased directly from the website or the mobile app. My guilty pleasure, on the other hand, is reading what a journalist from NYTimes thinks about my favorite novel. What things did I overlook while reading? I feel like I'm developing my own taste by consuming genuine perspectives.
This weekend, if you don't have the opportunity to enjoy the sights and smells of a bookshop or to have a cup of coffee with an old friend over a shared love of reading, consider checking Tertulia out. As far as I can tell, they did a good job at recreating that atmosphere.
We’ll talk again tomorrow.
