91 products left, but today Aurelius
Hi friend 👋,
I can't tell you how many times I've seen researchers communicate their findings yet struggle to get people to commit to it. We are the folks who design items for others. If you want to address a need, you must first understand it. And the easiest approach to learn about people is to simply ask them. Researchers do it in a methodical and scientific manner.
My team and I work in the B2B SaaS area. The mechanics are quite different in this case. Because quantitative data is practically impossible to use, we must rely on qualitative data. We are attempting to do interviews every week, whether they be discovery or generative in nature. We do this with our clients, future clients, and even those who utilize alternatives to better understand them.
When you begin this journey, one week follows another until you have tens of meeting notes and small thoughts circling them. To be honest, the actual job is not conducting the interview itself, but rather assessing it in a methodical and honest fashion. We've done this before with Notion by leveraging tags, cards, and everything else Notion has to offer. However, there is a far superior tool for doing so, and I'm sure most of my researcher friends are already aware of it.
Today, Aurelius is our product.
It has transcriptions, clips, integrations and highlights to combine clips. I believe in the science of product development, and it always begins with thorough research. Aurelius is a great tool for gaining insight about the significance of your studies. It also makes you a better researcher thanks to the content on the website. Finally, they have all of the information you need about them on their YouTube profile.
We'll talk again tomorrow!
