I think if we check the success rate of notable investors, we could find a correlation. I'm not saying that there is a causality; but all good investors out there have a decent due diligence on how money is spent in the company, how products are built etc. So, I always think that if you are good enough to be funded by Sequoia, most probably you are good enough to be successful.
